Simple Watercolour Leaf Stamps for Procreate
I'm delighted to release my first Procreate stamp pack: Simple Watercolour Leaf Stamps for Procreate
Please note, this is a digital product. These stamps can only be used in the Procreate app. They are not compatible with Photoshop or any other editing software. Digital products cannot be exchanged or returned.
What is a Stamp?
Stamps are actually Procreate brushes so once this set is installed you'll find it in your brushes area. They work slightly differently though.
How Do I Use a Procreate Stamp?
Just select your stamp/brush and adjust the size, opacity and colour, then tap your screen with your Apple Pencil or finger to 'stamp' it. You can resize and reorientate the stamp after that if you want to using the selection tool. I'd advise against enlarging your stamped image (after stamping it) if you've already set it to the largest size as the quality will be affected.
How Did You Make These Stamps?
I painted each leaf and bunch using high quality watercolours on heavy watercolour paper. Then I scanned the paintings at 600dpi and cleaned them up in Photoshop. After that, they were made into brushes in the Procreate app.
What is Included in the Stamp Pack?
This is what you get:
- 17 leaf stamps (see photos)
- 2 watercolour paper templates (2048 x 2048 pixels and 2400 x 3500 pixels)
- Sample artwork
- Installation instructions
What Can I Use These Stamps For?
You can use these stamps for both personal and commercial projects. This means you can sell products featuring artwork made using the stamps. You cannot, however, resell the stamps.
As you can see from the example photographs, I used the stamps to create a pattern. However, you could use them as stand alone illustrations. They look really nice with an inked outline over the top.
It's recommended that you use the watercolour paper templates as your canvas in Procreate to achieve a realistic watercolour texture. Big thanks to Karin from iPad Lettering for teaching me how to create these templates.
